100 Bites is made by meetbibi. This policy covers the 100 Bites iPhone app and this website.
The short version: 100 Bites has no accounts and no server. Your baby's name, birthday, every food you log, every reaction, note and photo — all of it is written to storage on your own phone and never sent anywhere. We could not read it if we wanted to, because it never reaches us.
What stays on your device
- Your children's names, birthdays, feeding style and region preference.
- Every food you mark as tried, with the date, reaction, notes and any photo.
- Your progress, milestones, collections and monthly summaries.
- App settings, including which child is active.
This data is stored in the app's own private storage and, on iPhone, is included in your device's normal iCloud or iTunes backup if you have backups switched on. That backup is between you and Apple; we have no access to it.
Photos you attach to a taste are copied into the app's own storage on the device. They are never uploaded, never analysed, and never leave the phone.
What leaves your device
Two things, and only these.
Purchases
If you buy 100 Bites+ we use RevenueCat to handle the purchase and to remember that you are a subscriber across reinstalls and devices. RevenueCat receives:
- Your purchase history for this app — which product you bought, when, and whether it is still active.
- A device identifier and basic device information (model, operating system version, app version, country), used to match a purchase back to your installation.
We do not send RevenueCat your name, your email, your children's details, or anything you have logged in the app. The identifier RevenueCat uses is generated by their SDK and is not linked to your identity. This data is used only to make purchases and restores work — never for advertising, and never for tracking you across other apps or websites. RevenueCat's own policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple also processes the payment itself under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your card details.
The waitlist, if you join it
If you enter your email address on this website, we store that address so we can email you once, when the app launches. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to anything else. Ask us and we will delete it.
What we do not do
- No analytics. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not know how many screens you opened or which foods you logged.
- No advertising, and no tracking. The app shows no ads, contains no advertising SDK, and does not ask for permission to track you, because there is nothing to track you with.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no password to lose.
- No selling of data, to anyone, ever. There is no data of yours in our possession to sell.
Children
100 Bites is an app for parents and carers. It is not designed for or directed at children, and it is not distributed in the App Store Kids Category. It records information about an infant that is entered by an adult, and — as above — that information stays on the adult's own device.
Your data, and deleting it
Because everything is on your phone, you are already in complete control of it.
- Export. Settings → Your data → Export gives you a JSON file of everything the app holds, which you can save or send wherever you like.
- Delete. Settings → Your data → Delete all data erases every child, log, note and photo from the device permanently.
- Delete everything. Removing the app from your phone deletes all of it, along with the app's storage.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription — manage that in your Apple ID subscription settings. To have a purchase record removed from RevenueCat, or a waitlist email deleted, write to us at the address below.
Legal bases and your rights
If you are in the UK or EU: we process purchase data on the basis of performance of a contract (you bought something and we have to honour it), and waitlist emails on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. You have the right to access, correct, export or erase the data we hold, and to complain to your data protection authority. In practice the only data we hold is a purchase record and, if you gave it, an email address.
If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant — for example if the app ever started sending something new off the device — we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
